layer402 builds on Casper's official x402 Facilitator (part of the Casper AI Toolkit) — adding the identity, trust, and settlement-record layer the raw facilitator doesn't provide, and optionally settling straight through it.

Adds identity + trust

Every agent gets an on-chain DID and a portable trust score, checked before the payment settles.

Adds provable settlement

A facilitator-signed receipt and an on-chain SettlementVault record on top of the raw settle.

Can delegate settlement

Optionally hands the on-chain settle to Casper's facilitator (CEP-18 / EIP-712) and keeps trust + batching on top.
